Graphic Designer Prepress

IAL Saatchi & Saatchi is looking for a skilled Graphic Designer (Prepress) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality print-ready files, ensuring workflow efficiency, and collaborating with designers, production teams, and print vendors to maintain exceptional print standards. This role requires technical expertise in prepress processes, attention to detail, and strong collaboration skills to optimize the production workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Prepare and optimize print-ready files for various printing processes, ensuring accuracy and high quality.
✅ Oversee pre-flighting, color management, trapping, overprinting, and imposition settings to maintain print consistency.
✅ Work closely with the creative and production teams to ensure artwork is properly formatted for different print materials and substrates.
✅ Collaborate with print vendors to verify proofs, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain quality standards.
✅ Stay updated on printing techniques, file preparation standards, substrates, and finishing processes.
✅ Maintain and manage digital asset archiving, version control, and proper documentation.
✅ Assist in implementing best practices for prepress workflow, quality control, and production efficiency.
✅ Provide input on design improvements, ensuring files meet color accuracy and resolution requirements.

Requirements:

✔ Proven experience as a Graphic Designer (Prepress), Pre-Press Specialist, or similar role in an advertising or printing environment.
✔ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and other prepress software.
✔ Strong knowledge of color management, print production techniques, and file preparation standards.
✔ Experience with RIP software, proofing systems, and large-format printing.
✔ Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
✔ Ability to handle multiple projects while ensuring quality and consistency.
✔ A degree or certification in Graphic Design, Printing Technology, or a related field is preferred.
