Graphic Designer

Incision is a 16-year-old full-service media production and digital solutions agency based in Islamabad. We tell stories to empower change through awareness, and we’re seeking a graphic designer as eccentric as us to join our team.

 

THE JOB

 

1. Create visually appealing graphics and layouts for projects

 

2. Develop and maintain visual brand identity across all platforms,

 

3. Design marketing materials, including brochures, posters, banners, and digital assets

 

4. Produce designs for both digital and print media

 

5. Ability to type and design in both Urdu and English

 

6. Create engaging and dynamic animated content, including GIFs

 

7. Work collaboratively with cross-functional team members and management

 

8. Incorporate feedback to refine designs and improve the overall quality of designs (with a constructive approach to handling professional criticism)

 

9. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 

1. Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.

 

2. Minimum three years of relevant professional experience in graphic design in an office setting.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS & TRAITS

 

1. Minimum 2-3+ years of graphic design experience at a creative agency

 

2. Brainstorming and developing creative design directions and strategy, along with big ideas

 

3. Branding, identity, logo design, and iconography

 

4. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills (non-negotiable)

 

5. Ability to handle multiple priorities at once, or shift gears and remain flexible as deadlines may change or changes come in

 

6. Hands-on print production experience: you know how CMYK works, what a dieline is and know how to compile files for printers and/or you have experience sending things to commercial printers

 

7. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Knowledge of Premiere Pro or After Effects is a plus but not mandatory

 

8. You aren’t afraid to speak up and ask relevant questions

 

9. You have a collaborative team player mentality with a go-getter/self-starter approach. Humble, and flexible with feedback, but ultimately the ability to generate your own work, take ownership of things (good or bad), and lead a project without a lot of hand-holding is a must

 

10. It would be great if you’re knowledgeable and curious about AI and how this tool will enhance your work.
