Geographic Information System Developer

Description:

We are seeking a talented GIS Developer with 3-4 years of experience in GIS Development. As a GIS Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our WebGIS and Mobile-GIS solutions. You will work closely with our team to develop new features, troubleshoot issues, and improve the overall user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop web and mobile GIS solutions.
• Work with our team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends in web and GIS development.

Requirements:

Must have

• 3-4 years of experience in GIS Development.
• Strong problem-solving and algorithm-building skills.
• Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases (Especially Spatial Databases e.g., PostGIS).
• Command on at least two GIS Mapping APIs (Leaflet, Mapbox, OpenLayers, Google Maps, ArcGIS JS API).
• Ability to learn quickly and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in React and React-Native.
