Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Fundraising Officer to lead donor and volunteer outreach efforts. The ideal candidate will excel in cold calling, building strong relationships with donors and volunteers, and crafting impactful fundraising campaigns. This role is crucial in helping us achieve our fundraising goals and expanding our network of supporters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Donor Outreach: Identify, research, and engage potential donors through cold calling, email, and other outreach strategies to secure financial contributions.
- Volunteer Engagement: Proactively reach out to potential volunteers to increase participation in MFBCS programs and events.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, sponsors, and volunteers to ensure long-term support and engagement.
- Campaign Development: Collaborate with the marketing and communications team in executing fundraising campaigns, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Reporting: Track and analyze outreach efforts, donor engagement, and fundraising outcomes, providing regular updates to leadership.
- Event Support: Assist in planning and promoting fundraising events, including dinners, community drives, and conferences.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align outreach efforts with overall organizational strategy and priorities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in NPO sales, fundraising, or a related field, with a strong track record of achieving targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently engage donors and volunteers over the phone.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and fundraising tools is an asset.
