Full Stack, Hands-on Technical Manager

Description:

Millennium Nexus, part of Beyond Apps Group, is hiring a Full Stack, Hands-on Technical Manager with expertise in Laravel and VueJS. The role involves working closely with the management to lead a team of developers in delivering high-quality products on time. The ideal candidate will have experience in software engineering, project management, and agile/scrum development.

Responsibilities:

• Work with management to understand tasks, product requirements, and release schedules, and create plans to deliver products.

• Lead sprint planning, code reviews, and prototyping.

• Guide the team to achieve optimal product quality and schedules.

• Design and write code using Laravel to enhance product availability, scalability, and efficiency.

• Mentor and manage a team of engineers, conduct performance evaluations, and facilitate career development.

• Participate in code and design reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote test automation.

• Foster collaboration within the team and with cross-functional teams.

• Develop back-end services in Laravel and front-end applications using HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, ReactJS, and VueJS.

• Implement modern, responsive UIs for web and various devices.

• Write maintainable and testable code within the Laravel ecosystem.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.

• 6+ years of relevant experience in software engineering.

• Proficiency in backend technologies and frameworks (Laravel, Microservices).

• Experience with cross-platform front-end technologies (React, VueJS) is a plus.

• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and algorithms.

• Experience with RESTful Web Services and Service-Oriented Architecture.

• Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.

• Experience with mocking frameworks, testing frameworks, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.

• Strong attention to detail, reliability, scalability, and flexibility in software development.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with live streaming and VOD system design.

• Knowledge of authentication mechanisms.

• Familiarity with Docker technology.
