Full Stack Developer

Description:

As a Software Engineer specializing in data, you will play a critical role in streamlining the onboarding process and ensuring smooth data migration for the customers. Your focus will be on designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient systems for smooth data migration across various database platforms. You’ll develop solutions that enable us to transfer customer data securely and efficiently from legacy systems to our platform.

You will:

• Plan, design, and execute comprehensive data migration strategies, transferring data from legacy systems or third-party software to our platform seamlessly.
• Develop and implement automated scripts or tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) to optimize the migration process, especially for large-scale data sets.
• Conduct thorough data quality checks and validation to ensure data integrity post-migration, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the onboarding process and continually enhance system performance.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in backend development for cloud applications.
• Expertise in the following:
• JavaScript (JS), ES6, Typescript, Webpack
• Node.js
• OOP (Object-Oriented Programming), design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code practices
• Version control using Git
• Working with Scrum and agile development environments
• Writing SQL and modelling databases using MySQL
• Proven experience working with non-relational databases
