Frontend Engineer

Description:

As a Frontend Engineer at Motive, you have an amazing opportunity to work on the latest Frontend frameworks and tools to develop and improve features of our Motive Fleet Management product. You will be contributing to interesting and challenging projects that involve Real-time geo-locations, Video streaming, Data charts, Real-time messaging to name a few. We are looking for candidates with strong problem solving skills and an eye for great software design.

Responsibilities
 

• Work on modern web frameworks and tools as part of the Frontend team
• Implement highly interactive UIs using modern UI/UX patterns and techniques
• Collaborate with Backend engineers for API requirements and refinements
• Work with designers to build highly usable and performant UIs
• Work with a cross functional team comprising of Frontend, Backend, Product, Design, and QA partners
• Be able to work as part of a tightly knit team
   

Qualifications
 

• 1 to 4 years of Frontend engineering experience
• Worked on at least one medium to large web application
• Understands agile software development process
• In-depth knowledge of the core JavaScript language
• Experience working in at least one of the modern web frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, etc
• Comfortable using CSS preprocessors such as Sass/Less
• Prior experience working with Maps, Charts, Video players, Chat services is a big plus!
