Front Desk Receptionist

 

Description:

The receptionist/front desk officer is responsible for managing the front desk operations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors. This role involves a variety of administrative tasks, coordination of office activities, and support to staff and management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.

• Manage the front desk, ensuring it is neat and organized.

• Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate personnel.

• Handle incoming and outgoing packages.

• Address inquiries and resolve issues or direct them to the appropriate staff.

• Perform clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and maintaining office supplies.

• Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings for staff and management.

• Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks as needed.

• Monitor visitor access and maintain a visitor log.

• Ensure the security of the office premises by following established protocols.

• Work closely with other departments to facilitate effective communication and workflow.

• Assist with other administrative tasks or projects as assigned.

• Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.

 

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree

• Experience: 3-4 years of experience in same role.

• Skills:

o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

o Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

o Knowledge of office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners).
