Job Description:
- Evaluating fragrance samples to determine their sensory characteristics, such as odor, intensity, and longevity (In The products like Body Spray, Air Fresheners, Insecticides etc.).
- Comparing fragrance samples to previously approved standards to ensure consistency in quality.
- Creating and maintaining fragrance libraries and databases to track fragrance development and usage.
- Collaborating with fragrance suppliers/houses and manufacturers to select and develop fragrances for new products.
- Conducting consumer testing and market research to gather feedback on fragrance preferences and trends.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulations related to fragrance development and usage.
- Review and analyze retention samples and share report on periodic basis.
- Participate proactively in the pertinent NPD/EPD projects.
- Support daily olfactive evaluation for different products categories & laboratories formulations (dosage evaluation, variation in smell, stabilities, etc.)
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and regulatory affairs/legal, to ensure that fragrance requirements are met.
Qualification and experience
- Bachelors/master’s degree in chemistry, biology or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the Fragrance Industry and/or Business.
- Strong sensory evaluation Skills.
- Knowledge of technical and regulatory matters and issues related to the Fragrance métier.
- Strong competitive insights; recognize market trends.

- Goal oriented and have an entrepreneurial outlook – with positive attitude.
- Good presentation skills (PowerPoint and/or other) to support fragrance strategy, insights, and consumer tests.
