First Aid Attendant

Description:

Qualification:

• High school diploma or equivalent required,
• course from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 03 years of working experience in primary/secondary/tertiary
• hospitals Experience in pediatrics, surgical units will be preferred.

Job Description:

• The First Aid Attendant will examine and treat minor workplace injuries within the level and
• scope of his first aid training and arrange for further medical help or other emergency services.
• Provides standard first aid treatment for injuries not considered serious, which may include
• cleaning injured areas and applying antiseptic, salves, ointments, or bandages.
• During treatment, maintains compliance with OSHAs standards.
• Observes staff with injuries or illnesses requiring further treatment.
• Maintains required records and documentation including log of injuries and occupational illnesses requiring first aid treatment.
• Maintains adequate inventory of first aid supplies; requests additional supplies when needed.
• Maintains neat and tidy first aid room.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
