We’re seeking candidates for the position of Fintech Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge trading bots that interact with brokerage APIs. Your expertise in both software engineering and financial trading concepts will play a pivotal role in enhancing our trading capabilities and ensuring optimal performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement algorithmic trading strategies that leverage real-time market data, technical indicators, and fundamental analysis to make automated trading decisions.
- Integrate with various brokerage APIs to access market data, execute trades, manage orders, and retrieve account information. Ensure seamless communication between our trading bots and the brokerage platforms.
- Develop robust solutions to efficiently process and analyze high-frequency market data, ensuring accurate and timely trading decisions.
- Implement risk management mechanisms within trading bots to control position sizing, manage leverage, and enforce stop-loss/take-profit levels to mitigate potential losses.
- Conduct thorough back testing of trading strategies using historical data, identifying opportunities for optimization and refining strategies based on performance analysis.
- Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive trading data and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Monitor the performance of trading bots in real-time, identify anomalies, and make necessary adjustments to optimize trading outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with traders, quantitative analysts, risk managers, and other stakeholders to understand trading requirements and implement effective software solutions.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of trading bot architecture, design, and implementation details for reference and knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in financial markets, trading algorithms, and technological advancements to ensure the trading bots remain competitive and effective.
