Financial Analyst

 

Description:

This job position entails a complete understanding of the financial statements of a company as well as a thorough grasp of ratio analysis, projection workings and a flair for report writing. Client liaison and relationship management will also be important, as well as confidence for presentations /clients meetings will be required.

Broad responsibilities

1. Client Relationship Management:
- Foster and sustain relationships with clients.
- Regularly liaise with clients to comprehend their needs and requirements.
- Gather and examine information from clients to expedite the rating process.

2. Financial Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of client companies, which includes scrutiny of financial statements and execution of ratio analysis.
- Compile detailed financial reports.

3. Due Diligence & Rating Presentation:
- Organize, coordinate, and carry out client due diligence procedures.
- Present your findings from financial analysis and detailed reports to the Rating Committee.
- Relay the ratings to clients, ensuring they understand the results and implications.

4. Project Management:
- Guarantee smooth closure of projects with thorough archiving and documentation.

5. Portfolio Monitoring:
- Perform quarterly or semi-annual reviews of clients within your assigned portfolio.
- Undertake sector-specific studies as specified and stay abreast with recent developments in the Rating Business.

Requirements;
>>2-3 years of experience in financial analysis/ equity research-based role
>>Experiential project primarily in areas of Corporate or Investment Banking Divisions/ Equity Research at brokerage, securities or asset management companies
