Finance Officer

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Officer to join our team. In this role, you will oversee financial operations, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

KEY TASK & RESPONSIBILITY

 Financial Operations: Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

 Record Keeping: Maintain and update accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards.

 Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, company policies, and tax laws.

 Reporting: Prepare and present periodic financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses.

 Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and forecasting of budgets to ensure financial goals are achieved.

 Bank & Cash Management: Oversee bank accounts and cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency.

 Timely Recovery: Monitor receivables and ensure timely recovery of outstanding payments.

 Audit Support: Collaborate with auditors by providing necessary financial documentation and insights.

 Cost Analysis: Conduct financial analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.

 Payroll Management: Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate employee payments

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Minimum Qualifications:

ACCA: Association of Chartered Certified Accountants

CPA: Certified Public Accountant

CMA: Certified Management Accountant

Minimum Experience:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in a finance-related role.

Job Specific Skills:

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
