Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing various financial activities, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes. You will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in accounting principles, financial analysis, and leadership to support the company's strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Possess hands-on experience with QuickBooks accounting software.
- Offer documentation support, outline procedures, and drive financial initiatives.
- Support budgeting, auditing, training, and project coordination.
- Have a solid understanding of budget forecasting, report preparation, and tracking.
- Provide financial reports, interpret information for managerial staff, and recommend courses of action.
- Act as a liaison with banks and external panels related to the finance department.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable daily.
- Generate invoices and follow up with business partners for timely payments.
- Close financial accounts daily and handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Maintain the company's payables and receivables accounts, ensuring compliance.
- Manage import and export processes, including customs clearance.
- Communicate with government and regulatory authorities such as SECP, FBR, Customs, etc.
- Audit financial transactions and documents.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Compute taxes (GST/WHT) and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/ICMA/CA, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial planning, accounting, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software.
