Description:
Mohtaram is seeking a Finance & Accounting Executive to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring smooth store operations, managing workflows, and supporting inventory and procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping: Maintain and manage store bookkeeping records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
- Workflow Management: Adhere to and ensure compliance with the company's workflow policies, streamlining administrative and operational processes.
- Administrative Support: Handle administrative tasks related to finance, including managing invoices, receipts, inventory records and other financial documentation.
- Inventory Management: Update and reconcile inventory records, monitor stock levels, and ensure proper documentation of material issuances.
- Material Issuances: Track and document material usage, ensuring accurate reporting and accountability.
- Procurement Support: Assist in basic procurement-related bookkeeping, including vendor payments and purchase order tracking.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit financial and inventory reports as required by management.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, financial regulations, and operational workflows.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role (experience in retail/fashion is a plus).
- Proficiency in accounting software, Zoho Books and MS Excel.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to oversee administrative tasks of junior workforce.
- Familiarity with workflow management tools and policies.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
