Idenfo is in search of passionate and talented individuals to join our team as Journalism Fellows. This fellowship offers a distinctive and immersive experience for aspiring journalists who are enthusiastic about making a significant contribution to impactful investigative reporting and digital journalism. The chosen candidate(s) will engage closely with seasoned journalists, gaining hands-on experience in areas such as KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and finance regulations and data. They will play a pivotal role in crafting compelling narratives and stories that resonate with our audience. This opportunity is ideal for those looking to grow in a dynamic environment at the intersection of journalism and regulatory finance or Anti Money Laundering.

Responsibilities

· Conduct in-depth research on assigned topics to gather relevant information.

· Compile and analyze data to support accurate and insightful reporting.

· Craft well-researched and engaging articles, features, and reports.

· Explore and experiment with various multimedia formats, including audio, video, and interactive content.

· Designing and implementing data collection methods.

· Integrating data from multiple sources.

· Cross validates the data from the identified sources.

· Translate multiple records and its related information from Urdu to English if required.

· Ensuring the accuracy, quality and integrity of data.

· Must be able to complete tasks and activities within the specified time frames.

· Stay informed about current events, industry trends, and emerging technologies in journalism.

· Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance journalistic skills.

· Build relationships with key stakeholders, experts, and sources in the field.

· Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to broaden professional connections.

Qualifications

· Currently, pursuing and in Final Term of the Bachelors’ degree related to Mass Communication, Journalism, International Relations or a related domain.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

· Must have experience working with spreadsheets, such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

· Must be able to read and understand complex texts in both English and Urdu

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
