The School of Engineering at the University of Management and Technology, Lahore is seeking

qualified candidates for the position of Lab Engineers, Lecturer, Assistant professor to join UMT's

dynamic faculty team.

Position Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

 Delivering high quality lectures and demonstration to undergraduate and graduate

students in the filed of computer engineering

 Developing and updating course materials, assignments, and assessments

 Mentoring and advising students on academic and career goals

 Engaging in research and scholarly activities in their area of expertise and seeking

external funding

 Participate in departmental and institutional committees and activities

 Contributing to development and delivery of new programs and initiatives within the

School of Engineering

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have:

 BS degree in Computer Engineering from a HEC recognized institution for the position

of Lab Engineer

 BS degree in Computer Engineering and MS in relevant field from a HEC recognized

institution for the position of the Lecturer

 BS degree in Computer Engineering, MS and PhD in relevant field from a HEC

recognized institution for the position of Assistant Professor

 Evidence of effective teaching and mentorship, with experience in delivering courses in

engineering at the undergraduate and/or graduate level

 Demonstrated research accomplishments and potential for future success in their field

 Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills

 Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and industry partners
