Description:
We are looking to hire an Export Executive for our Pakistan office who will be managing transboundary movement of containerized cargo end-to-end from booking at origin (USA & Europe) to international markets (Far East & South Asia), while complying with all relevant regulations and documentation requirements.
About the Job Role:
- Liaise with freight forwarders & carriers in overseas markets to negotiate rates, schedule shipments, and monitor transportation arrangements. Coordinate with Purchase Teams based in overseas offices to ensure timely and accurate loading of export shipments from Suppliers in USA & Europe.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and export control laws at origin (USA & Europe).
- Prepare and review export documents, such as packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other essential paperwork.
- Identify potential risks and challenges in the export process, such as customs delays, transportation issues, or regulatory changes at origin (USA & Europe).
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be based in Pakistan
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in similar role managing Sea Freight Export within international logistics or international trade industry
- Strong understanding and knowledge of export regulations, customs procedures, and international shipping documentation for USA & Europe
- Familiarity with Incoterms, trade compliance programs, and export licensing for USA & Europe is a plus
- Good level of computer literacy & experience with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
