Export Documentation Executive

 

Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for an Export Documentation Executive at our office in Karachi. The role involves handling export documentation, managing documents, facilitating communication, and ensuring efficient document management processes.

 

Job Description

· Generate shipping invoices / agent invoices & debit note.

· Correspondence with local / overseas agents

· Submission of bank documents to shipping lines

· Submission of documents to carrier companies

· Submission of ESI online to shipping lines like MAERSK, MSC, COSCO, CMA-CGM etc

· Preparation & deliver MBLs/HBLs to worldwide agents

· Update status of container in internal software from PICT/KICT/SAPT departure report

· Issuance & printing of BL in CSUL software (Maersk, CMA, HAPAG LOIYD) via web

· Preparing BL draft and email copies to customers after receipt

 

 

 

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

· Minimum 2-3 years of experience in same capacity in related shipping industry

· Proficiency in preparing invoices, packing lists, bill of lading, and other export documentation

· Strong understanding of international shipping regulations, INCO terms, and customs procedures

· Experience with online documentation management systems and applications

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work efficiently under pressure

· Strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving
