Esg Officer

 

Description:

The ESG Officer will be pivotal in driving environmental, social, and governance initiatives across our operations and supply chain. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact, ensuring adherence to international ESG standards, EU legislation, and customer-specific requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier Engagement: Conduct on-site visits and audits to ensure compliance with ESG standards.
  • Implementation: Oversee the implementation of ESG requirements, ensuring timely execution.
  • Reporting: Collect and analyze data for ESG reporting, including progress tracking and corrective actions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the teams to align ESG goals with corporate objectives.
  • Advocacy: Act as an ESG ambassador, fostering engagement and awareness among employees and stakeholders.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, business studies, sustainability, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years in ESG, CSR, auditing, or compliance, with expertise in sustainability standards and ethical sourcing practices.
  • Skills: Strong communication, data analysis, and project management abilities. Experience with reporting frameworks is a plus.
