Description:
We are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Lahore-based team. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of power system protection, latest drafting skills in AutoCAD, and experience in electrical system design and analysis for industrial, commercial, and utility-scale applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical System Design: Develop detailed electrical designs, including single-line diagrams (SLDs), panel layouts, cable schedules, and system specifications.
- AutoCAD Drafting: Create and modify technical drawings using AutoCAD (latest version) with precision and efficiency.
- Power System Protection: Conduct protection studies, design relay coordination, and ensure compliance with grid protection requirements.
- Load Flow & Grid Analysis: Perform power flow studies, short circuit analysis, fault calculations, and voltage drop analysis for electrical distribution systems.
- Equipment Selection & Specifications: Select transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, cables, and protection devices while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure designs meet IEC standards, BS-7671:2018, and AS/NZS 3000, along with IEEE, NEC, NFPA, and local grid code regulations.
- Technical Documentation & Reports: Prepare feasibility studies, technical proposals, detailed engineering reports, and BOQs.
- Testing & Commissioning Support: Provide technical guidance during the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical system design and power system protection.
- Technical Skills (Mandatory):
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Latest Version) – Mandatory
- Strong Understanding of Power System Protection – Mandatory
- Strong knowledge of IEC standards, BS-7671:2018, and AS/NZS 3000:2018
- Experience with ETAP, load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, and protection coordination.
- Knowledge of grounding techniques, cable sizing, and fault current calculations.
