Description:
The Ecommerce Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our online sales channels, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer experience. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of ecommerce platforms, digital marketing, and customer behavior. The Ecommerce Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive online sales growth, enhance the customer journey, and maximize the performance of our ecommerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Ecommerce Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive ecommerce strategy aligned with overall business goals.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to align ecommerce initiatives with broader business strategies.
Website Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the ecommerce website(s).
- Optimize website content, navigation, and functionality to enhance user experience and drive conversions.
- Monitor site performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to ensure optimal functionality.
Products Management:
- Coordinate with product teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date product listings on the ecommerce platform.
- Implement merchandising strategies to showcase products effectively and drive sales.
- Analyze product performance data and make recommendations for assortment optimization.
Digital Marketing:
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic, customer acquisition, and sales.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize SEO, SEM, and social media strategies.
- Utilize data analytics to measure campaign effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
Customer Experience:
- Enhance the online customer journey through effective design, navigation, and usability.
- Monitor and respond to customer feedback, reviews, and inquiries to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Implement strategies to encourage repeat business, customer loyalty, and positive word-of-mouth.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize analytics tools to track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to ecommerce.
- Provide regular reports and insights on sales trends, customer behavior, and ecommerce performance.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize ecommerce strategies and improve overall performance.
Inventory and Order Management:
- Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure accurate inventory levels and order fulfillment.
- Implement efficient order processing systems and oversee fulfillment operations.
- Monitor and manage inventory turnover, stock levels, and product availability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or related field.
- Proven experience in ecommerce management, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Proficient in digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, and social media.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools, ecommerce platforms and CRM systems.
