Job Responsibilities
Writing:
Craft high-quality, engaging, and original content for books across various genres and topics.
Develop compelling narratives, characters, and settings that resonate with readers.
Maintain consistency in voice and style throughout the manuscript.
Developmental Editing:
Collaborate with authors and editors to refine and enhance manuscripts.
Provide comprehensive feedback on structure, plot development, character arcs, and pacing.
Assist in the development of new ideas and book concepts.
Proofreading:
Conduct thorough proofreading to ensure manuscripts are free of grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors.
Ensure consistency in formatting, style, and tone.
Translations:
Translate written content from one language to another while maintaining the original meaning, tone, and style.
Work with translators to ensure accurate and high-quality translations.
Content Writing:
Create engaging and informative content for marketing materials, blogs, social media, and other platforms.
Adapt writing style to suit different audiences and purposes.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, or a related field.
2-3 years of professional experience in book writing, editing, or a related role.
Strong command of the English language with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Proven experience in developmental editing and providing constructive feedback.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience with translations is a plus.
Proficient in various writing and editing software.
