Description:
As a Dynamics 365 Business Central Technical Consultant at Empiric Technology, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This role requires a strong understanding of the platform, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with clients to meet their business needs. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects, from small enhancements to full-scale implementations, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Development and Customization: Develop custom solutions and integrate them with existing systems using AL language, extensions, and APIs.
- Implementation: Lead the implementation process from a technical perspective including data migration, technical configurations, customizations and integration with other systems.
- Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and assist in user acceptance testing process to ensure the quality and functionality of the solutions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, technical design document, technical configuration guides, and other technical documentation.
- Mentorship, Training and Knowledge Transfer: Provide Mentorship, Training and Knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams on Dynamics 365 Business Central functionality and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest features and updates in Dynamics 365 Business Central and identify opportunities for system optimization and enhancement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Experience with AL language and development tools for Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Knowledge of integrating Business Central with other Microsoft products and third-party applications such as Azure Integration Services, Power Platform, Other Integration platforms.
- Familiarity with SQL Server, Power Platform, and Azure services is a must.
Experience:
- 1.5+ years of experience in a Technical consulting/Development role with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Proven track record of successful project implementations.
- Problem-Solving & Creativity: Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve complex business and technical problems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a multi-location team environment.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work on diverse projects and quickly adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
