Description:
As a Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant at Empiric Technology, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes and translating them into effective solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This role requires a deep understanding of business operations and the ability to configure and optimize the system to meet client needs. You will work on full-cycle implementations & managed support scenarios providing functional expertise to ensure projects are delivered successfully and your clients are well-supported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Analysis: Work closely with clients to understand their business processes and requirements and translate them into functional specifications for Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Solution Design: Design and configure Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Implementation: Lead the functional aspects of implementations, including system configuration, testing, data migration, and user training.
- User Support: Provide ongoing support and training to end users, ensuring they fully utilize Business Central’s capabilities.
- Customization Guidance: Collaborate with technical teams to define and support customizations, integrations, and system enhancements.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain documentation, including business process flows, functional specifications, and training materials.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest features and updates in Business Central, recommending improvements and optimizations for clients.
- Training: Be an active part of the Training regime both internally as well as externally. Empiric Technology takes pride on fostering a culture of active knowledge sharing hence Training (Internal/External) is a key responsibility of the role.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Computer Information Systems/ERP, or any related field.
- Functional & Technical Skills:
o Comfortable with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central functionality, configurations, modules, workflows,
data import/export, Critical end-to-end scenarios for any ERP system such as Procure-To-Pay, Quote-To-Cash,
Record-To-Report etc.
o Knowledge of integrating Dynamics 365 Business Central with Other platforms (e.g., Power Platform/Power
Apps, Third-party platforms and/or Business apps) is a must.
o 2+ years of experience in a Functional Consultant role with Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Dynamics
NAV/GP).
o Strong understanding of business processes in Finance, Supply chain, and/or Logistics/Manufacturing.
o Experience with end-to-end project delivery, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and
training.
- Problem-Solving & Creativity: Proven ability to analyze business needs and offer effective solutions. Additionally demonstrated ability to think critically and solve complex business problems.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer service & customer centricity. Excellent presentation skills are a big plus.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work on diverse projects and adapt to changing business needs. An agility to work in projects related to multiple verticals/industries.
