Description:
As a Director of Business Development, You Will… Drive the opportunity management process (from the beginning of the opportunity to the closing (win/lost). Address the different types of opportunities (any support required) and other tier companies appropriately. Collaboratively involve with and manage the daily operations of the support team. Allocate projects based on profile, priority, and type of activity. Drive and facilitate qualification and kick-off meetings. Actively participate in proposal qualification & solution definition for new business opportunities. Develop a solution-driven and added-value support team. Own & drive process improvement and document new processes. Own and drive a governance model to reinforce processes and strategy. Report team activity on a weekly/monthly basis. Track relevant KPIs, and advise & put corrective measures in place to improve KPIs. Leading the solution & Bid teams - managing the whole lifecycle, including coaching, developing, and performance reviews). Support recruitment and onboarding of newcomers. Coaching the newcomers on process adherence. Reporting on HR issues. Identification of training needs. Support in internal sales support communications - monthly meeting. Ensure all Sales support processes are recorded/documented & updated. Collaborate with other stakeholders (content & pricing teams). Part of the senior APAC sales support team – Influence strategic direction and partner with stakeholders to drive “fit for purpose” solution methodologies and efficiencies and drive the development of the Bid Support team. Collaboratively working with the local & regional support functions to ensure the operational support infrastructure for the SD & Bid Management Team
