Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management: Develop and implement a robust social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement. Manage and update the university's social media profiles, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Content Creation: Create compelling copy, design eye-catching graphics, and produce engaging videos for social media platforms, email campaigns, and the university website.
- Email Marketing: Plan, create, and manage email marketing campaigns. Analyze campaign performance and optimize for better results.
- Digital Advertising: Plan and execute targeted digital advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and social media. Monitor and report on campaign performance.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report key metrics across all digital channels. Use data-driven insights to improve marketing strategies.
- SEO and SEM: Implement SEO best practices to enhance the university’s website ranking on search engines. Manage SEM campaigns to drive targeted traffic.
- Online Community Engagement: Engage with the online community, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive online environment.
Key Competencies and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Proven experience in digital marketing and social media management.
- Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills.
- Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and video production is highly desirable.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp).
- Knowledge of SEO and SEM strategies.
- Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Experience with Google Analytics and other analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
