Devops Engineer

DD Global Pvt. Ltd (Digital Dividend) believes in valuing their customer experience. In order to achieve the next level in customer satisfaction, one of our goals is to induct a DevOps Engineer (mid to senior level) in our team. The ideal candidate should have the following skillset:

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma in Computer Science.

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in the field of DevOps.

• Good understanding of load balancing and scaling of a production application.

• Understanding of the deployment process of different programming technologies specially .Net/.Net Core, MERN, Python and PHP.

• Experience of CMS applications like Sitecore, Kentico and Umbraco will be considered as plus

• Ability to script in languages like bash and Perl/ruby.

• An understanding of the best security practices and automating security testing and updating in the CI/CD (continuous integration, continuous deployment) pipelines

• An ability to conveniently deploy monitoring and logging infrastructure using tools like Prometheus and Nagios

• Proficiency in container frameworks like Docker and Kubernetes

• Good to have experience of using of infrastructure (IaC) tools like Terraform, Cloud Formation, etc.

• An understanding of various operating systems, especially Linux, as most public clouds operate on Linux or Unix systems

• A strong focus on automation and agile development

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously

• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure. Good to have experience of other cloud platforms like OCI etc.

• Deployment experience of both Monolithic and Micro-service based applications

• Good to have certification in Cloud Security
