Description:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our software development and delivery pipelines. You will collaborate closely with development, IT, and operations teams to streamline processes, automate repetitive tasks, and ensure the continuous availability of our applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to ensure scalability, reliability, and consistency.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for applications, automating build, test, deployment, and monitoring processes.
- Work with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) to improve application scalability and maintainability.
- Set up and configure monitoring and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
- Implement security best practices and policies, perform regular vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Identify opportunities for automation and develop scripts and tools to simplify and expedite repetitive tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements, provide technical solutions, and support a culture of DevOps and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years proven experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
