Devops Engineer

Description:

Pinnacle is looking for a skilled “DevOps Engineer” with 4+ years of professional experience. It’s a full-time job for the successful candidate who will be responsible for ensuring that our software products are reliable, secure, and maintainable through the use of automation, monitoring tools, continuous integration, and deployment tools.

Technical Skills (Required):

·Managing and maintaining the infrastructure and configuration of systems, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud services.

·Experience in setting up automated backups on different nodes.

·Sets up and configures CockroachDB and MongoDB instances, ensuring proper data modeling, performance optimization, and data security.

·Strong experience in configuring and managing cloud infrastructure and containerization platforms (Kubernetes, Docker).

·Proficient in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.

·Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

·Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.

·Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Splunk.

·Understanding of networking principles, security protocols, and best practices.

·Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

·Identify and mitigate possible vulnerabilities in the infrastructure design.

Qualifications:

·Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field from a recognized university.

·Proven experience working as a DevOps engineer minimum 4+ Years.

·Continuously improving system reliability and performance.

·Staying up-to-date with best practices and technologies in the field.
