Devops Engineer

Description:

Melior is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to manage software deployments, optimize system performance, and enhance integration between development and operations. The ideal candidate should have expertise in CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, automation, and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab | GIT for efficient software releases.

• Manage container orchestration with Kubernetes for scalable and reliable deployments.

• Oversee database management for MongoDB, SQL Server, and MySQL to ensure optimal performance.

• Implement caching solutions using Redis to enhance system efficiency.

• Set up centralized logging and monitoring using the ELK stack for better visibility.

• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve deployment-related issues.

• Implement service mesh architecture using Istio to improve microservices communication.

• Configure metrics and alerting using Prometheus and Thanos for system monitoring.

• Automate deployment processes with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).

• Implement code coverage and code quality checks within CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with AI/ML-based deployment is a plus.

Technical Skills & Requirements:

• CI/CD: Proficiency in GitLab | GIT for continuous integration and deployment.

• Containerization: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.

• Database Management: Strong knowledge of MongoDB, SQL Server, and MySQL.

• Caching & Logging: Experience with Redis and the ELK stack.

• Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency in Terraform and scripting (Python, Bash).

• Monitoring & Service Mesh: Familiarity with Prometheus, Thanos, and Istio.
