Design Manager Electrical Mep

• well versed with local and international codes / standards for design of MEP works related to building works to maintain safety and performance standards. Must have good command on latest softwares used for design of MEP works related to Electrical works in buildings. Competent to coordinate with Client and authorities for seeking approval of design. Should have ability to retrieve data from the stake holders
• compile data to be used in design in a timely manner. excellent organizational skills
• communication skills
• strong leadership skills proficiency in using Microsoft Office package.

Description:

• Middle east and or High rise buildong Design Experience  will be plus.
• Responsible for the complete design management deliverables on the project Design / review the design by lead consultants, Electrical systems of a building, not limited, Energy Management and direct digital control systems.
• Should also be able to plan and design onsite power generation requirements and distribution and lightning protection and critical power systems.
• Should know the ideal placement of fixtures in the building for optimal functionality & efficiency Create / review the technical specifications for the above design systems.
• Organizing and participating in design reviews and facilitating the value engineering of design consultant’s solutions.
• Ensuring a cohesive design management process is adhered to Monitoring the compliance with the project brief.
• Monitoring the progress against the project scope. Scheduling of design reviews at all gateways and control points.
• Organizing and managing technical review team resources and input.
