Join our dynamic R&D team as a Design Engineer, where you'll play a pivotal role in developing and optimizing special purpose vehicles that push the boundaries of technology and engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Innovative Design & Prototyping: Lead the design, optimization, and prototyping of assemblies for special purpose vehicles, ensuring that each design meets the highest standards of functionality and efficiency.
- Engineering Calculations & Analysis: Perform critical calculations, including load analysis, stability assessments, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using design models to ensure the safety and reliability of our products.
- CAD Modeling: Utilize advanced CAD software to create detailed and accurate working models, bringing complex vehicle designs to life.
- CNC Programming: Generate precise CNC programs for Plasma, Laser, and Router machines, ensuring seamless production processes and high-quality outputs.
- Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Address and resolve challenges in mechanical and hydraulic systems, providing innovative solutions to maintain the integrity and performance of our vehicles.
- Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate closely with Production & Fabrication departments to ensure a smooth workflow, from design through to production, maintaining a cohesive and efficient operation.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven minimum 1-3 years of experience in design engineering, preferably within the automotive or special purpose vehicle industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), experience with FEA tools, and knowledge of CNC programming and operation.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
