Description:
- Wellbeing and Compliance: Understanding and compliance of SOPs, company policies, procedure and facilitate to team on compliance. Promote safety culture, keep vigilance on safety hazards and reporting to safety observations
- Areas to Focus: Leading Procurement team for successful competitive bidding, awarding PO / Contracts under collaboration with all stakeholders. Strengthen central team for handling engineering items for 3 plants, Business Services, Contracts, other Procurement assignments
- Broadening Sources: Strengthening supplier’s bank of company by exploring and inducting strategic, specialized new sources for creating competitiveness. Applying follow-up mechanism on all steps and maintain vigilance on delivery timelines
- Teamwork Culture Promotion: Collaboration would be required within Pakistan, EMEA and Corporate USA. Budgeting and forecasting of relevant items with coordination of all relevant stockholders. Self-sufficient and self-starter initiative, knowledge and Procurement acumen would be required to create value for company
- Developing Procurement Team: Conduct inhouse training of team on Procurement acumen, Negotiation strategies and SWOT analysis etc. for effective and efficient outcome. Suggest to HR Team for arranging outsource training to ensure desired capability and skills
- KPI base Performance: Performance would be required based on clear and set KPIs for above post and for subordinates on half yearly basis. A dashboard for Procurement will also be established for depicting transparent, online status for team
- Project Management and Saving Initiatives: Handling Projects and delivering within defined timelines by adopting saving initiatives without compromising on quality
- Soft working: Company is already heading towards paperless environment and mostly working on computer on SAP and other software. Candidate must have capability / skills on soft work on all such software (s)
Mandatory Requirements
Qualified candidates will have:
- BSc/MSc in Engineering, preferably Mechanical
- Proven practical experience of procurement of plant, machinery, spares, relevant services
