Deputy Director Finance

Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Deputy Director Finance in Karachi, with a focus on providing strategic direction and management of all financial development activities for ICMA Pakistan. The role will involve overseeing budgets, forecasting and financial planning, preparing financial statements, conducting audits, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with local legislation and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing treasury operations like; completion of bank formalities for seeking loan financing, comparative analysis of banking offer rates, investment amortization schedules, and bookkeeping into GL financials following International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Assisting in Capital Expenditure (Capex) planning and ensuring accurate treatment thereof and long-term rental payments schedules as per IFRS 16.
• Preparing grant or subsidized bank financing schedules as per applicable accounting standards.
• Assisting in the annual budget and Annual Report preparation.
• Assist in finalizing of all internal and external audits and PCP audit as well.
• Yearly / Bi-monthly / Quarterly closing and adjustments for Financial Reporting.
