Description:
We are now looking for a Depot Site Manager to join our TBM (Transported by Maersk) IMEA Team. The target candidates should have a good understanding of Maersk’s strategy and business drivers. Scope mainly covers optimization of Depot and Equipment repairing/maintenance, Supplier Relationship and Performance Management, as well as Contract Execution for contract life time etc. The candidate we are looking for should have good communication and interpersonal skills, strong customer centricity mindset and efficient stakeholder management capability. The role reports into Area Depot delivery manager IMEA – TBM.
Area of responsibilities:
- Manage Daily operations in container yard control quality and provide container as per customer required
- Ensure container in sound condition released to customer
- Monitoring cost in daily operations and look for new options of cost savings in all operation activities
- Managing the depot processes, improving business performance
- Provide relevant parties with sounds advice enabling decisions to be made on solid operational grounds
- Ensure company procedures and guidelines are effectively communicated and implemented by your team members
- Develop and roll out and optimize effective business and engagement model to support customer centricity and various other business priorities in connection with company strategy
- Ensure 100% compliance on all EMR (Equipment maintenance and repairs) KPI’s and nil audit findings
- Maintain and manage customer’s guidelines – SLA’s intact in terms of repairs and would be the focal point for delivering on all EMR’s objectives
Essential job tasks:
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible deal
- Handle, handover and execute contracts in accordance with relevant procurement, commercial and legal disciplines
- Enhance cost ownership and drive cost leadership
- Monitoring cost in daily operations and look for new options of cost savings in all operation activities
- Support operations to solve disruption and gain efficiency from execution of the contracts
- Be responsible for compliance to avoid business risks
- Join in team efforts for process excellence to improve team capability and efficiency
- Support direct manager on team focus driving
- Own and manage supplier relationships to maximize delivery of the value in the whole project and contract lifetime
- NIL Audit findings and 100% criteria compliance for repairs
- All relevant systems of repairs/depot must be managed and updated as per client’s need
- Performs other position related duties as specified by management
- Monitor the performance of local EMR shop and get damage container repaired within the due time
- To prevent OOS container
- To monitor GOH & MOH container related issues
- Make sure the proper filing of all transport related documents
