• Provide proactive and reactive support to users for data management, offering necessary training and assistance.
• Determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct regular tests and evaluations to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity.
• Stay up-to-date with policies and procedures in place to protect against data loss.
• Monitor database performance, implementing necessary changes, and staying updated with the latest patches and versions.
• Manage the system resources and lead the capacity planning exercise.
• Set-up naming conventions and hierarchies for schemas and structures within a database.
• Design and develop workload management processes and policies in database platforms.
• Develop automation solutions for repetitive database tasks, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
