Data Test Engineer

Description:

On behalf of our client in the US, Affinity is looking for a Data Test Engineer in Pakistan to work closely with the data and development team responsible for designing and executing tests for data-driven applications and systems to ensure their quality and functionality. This is is a remote contract in PST timezone.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop test cases based on data requirements and specifications.
• Execute tests on data-driven applications and systems to identify and isolate defects.
• Validate data output, data integrities, and data migration activities.
• Work closely with data engineers and developers to diagnose and resolve data-related issues.
• Write and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks.
• Develop and maintain test data and test environments.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the overall quality of data-driven applications and systems.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data testing processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data testing.
