Data Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Tableau and SQL Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid setup, splitting time between our Lahore office and remote work. You will play a key role in managing and optimizing data flows, building dashboards, and ensuring data accuracy and efficiency for business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and data warehouses.

• Build and optimize queries and procedures in SQL Server.

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.

• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.

• Troubleshoot and resolve database and reporting issues.

• Regularly monitor and optimize database performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience in SQL Server database design, development, and management.

• Proficiency in Tableau for creating and managing data visualizations and dashboards.

• Strong understanding of ETL processes.

• Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
