Customs Broker

Description:

Raaziq International, a renowned logistics and supply chain company, is looking for a skilled Customs Broker to join their team. This position focuses on ensuring compliance with UK customs regulations while handling duties related to customs clearance and documentation for international shipments. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in UK customs brokerage and logistics, with a strong understanding of UK customs procedures and international trade agreements.

As a Customs Broker, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting customs entries, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing duty payments and refunds. You will also assist customers with inquiries, resolve issues, and provide expert guidance on UK customs procedures and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit UK customs entries, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and other required documents

• Stay up-to-date with the latest UK customs regulations and ensure that all actions comply with applicable laws and regulations

• Classify and value goods based on UK Harmonized System (HS) codes and customs regulations

• Accurately calculate and manage duty payments and refunds, ensuring timely and correct submissions

• Provide customer service by answering inquiries, resolving customs-related issues, and offering guidance on regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field

• Minimum 1 year of experience in UK customs brokerage and logistics

• In-depth knowledge of UK customs regulations and Harmonized System (HS) codes

• Proficient in UK customs clearance software and Microsoft Office tools

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
