Customer Sales Representative

 

Description:

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Customer Sales Representative (CSR) to join our team in the packaging industry. As a CSR, you will play a key role in driving sales, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring excellent customer service. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with their inquiries, provide product recommendations, process orders, and support the sales team in achieving business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable packaging solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales.
  • Handle customer inquiries, provide product details, and offer solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term business relationships.

Order Processing & Coordination:

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor order status and proactively communicate any updates or issues to customers.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.

Sales Support & Reporting:

  • Assist the sales team with preparing quotes, proposals, and contracts.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback in the CRM system.
  • Track sales performance and provide reports on key metrics to management.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and new packaging solutions.

Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or account management, preferably in the packaging industry or manufacturing sector.

Technical & Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of packaging materials and solutions is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
