Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced 'Custom WordPress Frontend Developer' to join our team. As a Custom WordPress Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites using WordPress as well as customize them as per client requirements.

 

Your primary focus will be on implementing and customizing WordPress themes, developing responsive web pages, and ensuring the overall performance and optimization of the websites.

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Develop and customize WordPress themes and templates based on project requirements.

· Collaborate with designers and other developers to implement and improve website designs.

· Convert PSD or other design files into responsive WordPress themes.

· Build and maintain responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

· Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for all websites.

· Optimize websites for speed and performance.

· Conduct website testing and debugging to ensure smooth functionality.

· Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues or bugs.

· Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in WordPress development.

· Collaborate with the backend development team to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.

· Provide technical support and guidance to clients or internal teams when needed.

 

Requirements:

· Proven work experience as a WordPress Frontend Developer or similar role.

· Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and responsive web design.

· Extensive experience in customizing WordPress themes and templates.

· Nice to have - Understanding of PHP and the ability to modify existing WordPress plugins or create custom plugins.

· Experience with version control systems like Git.

· Knowledge of web accessibility standards and SEO best practices.

· Ability to work with design tools such as Figma, and Adobe Photoshop.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication and collaboration skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

 

Qualification

BS degree in Computer Science and engineering.

Experience

Working experience as a Custom WordPress Frontend Developer 6 months to 1.5 years
