Description:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and skilled individuals to join our team as Culinary and Baking Instructors. As an instructor, you will have the exciting opportunity to share your expertise and passion for cooking and baking with aspiring chefs and home cooks. This position requires a deep understanding of culinary techniques, baking principles, and the ability to effectively communicate and teach these concepts to students.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver comprehensive culinary and baking courses, both theoretical and hands-on, to students with varying levels of experience.
• Create lesson plans, course materials, and assessments that align with the curriculum objectives and learning outcomes.
• Demonstrate and teach a wide range of culinary techniques, cooking methods, and baking skills to students.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their culinary and baking abilities.
• Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new cooking techniques, and baking innovations to continuously enhance the curriculum.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe cooking and baking environment, adhering to all safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and contribute to curriculum development and improvement.
• Participate in culinary events, workshops, and seminars to showcase your skills and promote the school's programs.
Qualifications:
• Extensive culinary and baking experience, preferably with formal training or a culinary degree.
• Proven expertise in a wide range of cooking techniques, international cuisines, and baking methods.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex culinary concepts to students.
• Patient, approachable, and enthusiastic about teaching and mentoring aspiring chefs.
• Organizational skills to develop lesson plans, manage student progress, and maintain a well-structured classroom.
• Adaptability to work with diverse groups of students and adjust teaching methods as needed.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Previous experience as a culinary or baking instructor is a plus.
