We are seeking a visionary Design Lead to spearhead our design team, driving creativity, innovation, and excellence in every project. As the Design Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design process from concept to completion, ensuring that all work aligns with our clients’ objectives and the agency’s high standards. Your leadership will inspire the team to push creative boundaries while maintaining a cohesive and compelling brand identity across all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Discuss project brief and design approach with Creative Director and follow guidelines with attention to detail.
- Lead and mentor a team of talented designers, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and productive work environment.
- Oversee the design process, from conceptualization to execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.
- Collaborate closely with the digital marketing team to integrate design strategies with marketing campaigns for a unified and effective brand message.
- Engage with clients to understand their vision, objectives, and brand identity, translating these into creative design solutions.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate new design techniques and technologies into the agency’s workflow to enhance creativity and efficiency.
- Develop and enforce design guidelines, best practices, and standards to ensure consistency and quality across all agency outputs.
- Present designs and concepts to stakeholders, effectively communicating design vision and rationale.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a design role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
- Profound expertise in design principles, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling.
- Mastery of design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch, Figma).
- Exceptional portfolio showcasing a wide range of design work, from conceptual sketches to polished designs.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of motivating and guiding creative teams to achieve excellence.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex design concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience in digital marketing design, with an understanding of how design influences user experience and engagement.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing demands with a positive attitude.
