Kaya Systems is seeking a visionary Creative Director to lead our creative team in conceptualizing, designing, and executing innovative and effective visual solutions. This role requires a leader who can inspire and guide creative talents to produce outstanding work that aligns with our brand identity and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of designers, copywriters, and other creative professionals.
- Foster a collaborative, positive, and innovative team environment.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to ensure high-quality creative output.
- Creative Strategy & Vision:
- Develop and implement creative strategies that align with company goals and brand identity.
- Oversee the creative process from concept to completion, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to keep Kaya Systems at the forefront of design and creativity.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of creative assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, product development, and external vendors.
- Allocate resources effectively, balancing workloads and deadlines.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Communicate and present creative concepts to clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
- Interpret client briefs and translate them into compelling creative solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and expectations.
- Quality Control & Improvement:
- Ensure all creative work meets high standards of quality, creativity, and effectiveness.
- Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation within the creative process.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training to enhance team skills and capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in a creative leadership role, preferably within an agency or corporate environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects and campaigns.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Strong understanding of branding, marketing, and advertising principles.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively, balancing both innovative and practical considerations.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
