Description:
We at Salman & Raheel Chartered Accountants are looking for JD Edwards Technical plus Functional Consultant who will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing our JD Edwards Enterprise One system. This role involves a mix of technical & functional duties including system customization, performance optimization, and user support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JD Edwards system administration, development, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy JD Edwards solutions based on business requirements.
- Assist in the management of the JD Edwards environment, including CNC configuration, system maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Optimize system performance through regular maintenance, updates, and patches.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring efficient and effective use of the JD Edwards system.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
- Ensure compliance with IT standards, policies, and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications & Skill Set:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field;
- JD Edwards certifications;
- Deep understanding of JD Edwards modules such as Financials, Manufacturing, and Distribution;
- Knowledge of additional programming languages like Java or .NET;
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; and
- Effective communication skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
Experience:
- Proven experience of 3+ years with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, including tools such as JD Edwards CNC, Report Design Aid (RDA), BI Publisher, and Form Design Aid (FDA).
- Strong experience in SQL and database management systems;
- Experience with the latest JD Edwards releases; and
- Experience with third-party integrations and cloud technologies.
