Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Coordinator to join our team in Lahore, Pakistan. This is an on-site role where the candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the successful construction and setup of our new office in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively while being physically present on-site to ensure smooth execution.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Site Project Planning and Coordination:Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for the office construction project.
- Be present on-site daily to oversee construction activities, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of the project.
- Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met.
- Stakeholder Management:Act as the primary on-site point of contact for all project-related communications.
- Liaise with senior management, external partners, and local authorities to ensure alignment and compliance.45Budget and Resource Management:
- Track project expenses and ensure the project stays within budget.
- Procure materials, equipment, and services required for the project.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance:Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct regular on-site inspections and address any issues promptly.
- Reporting and Documentation:Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, permits, and approvals.
- Risk Management:Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of proven experience in project coordination or management, preferably in construction or office setup projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
