Construction Cost Estimator

We are looking for a skilled Construction Estimator with extensive experience in U.S. residential projects

to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely cost

estimates for various residential construction projects, ensuring competitive and realistic bids that align

with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

 Prepare detailed and precise cost estimates for residential construction projects, including single-family homes, multi-family units, and renovations.

 Analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to perform quantity take-offs and develop cost breakdowns.

 Collaborate with architects, project managers, and subcontractors to gather relevant information for accurate bidding.

 Evaluate subcontractor proposals and analyze pricing to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.

 Create comprehensive bid packages and submit proposals within specified deadlines.

 Monitor project costs and assist with budget management throughout the project lifecycle.

 Stay current with market trends, construction materials, and pricing strategies to enhance bidding accuracy.

 Maintain organized documentation of estimates, revisions, and project correspondence.

 Provide input on project schedules and timelines as needed.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.

 C1 level Proficiency in spoken English.

 Minimum of 7 years of experience as a construction estimator, specifically with U.S. residential projects.

 Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Plan swift, RSMeans, Builder trend, AutoCAD).

 Strong understanding of residential construction methods, materials, and local building codes in the US Market.

 Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.

 Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

 Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

 Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

 Knowledge of project management principles in US market is a plus.
