Computer Aided Design Technician

Another Immediate Requirement for a CAD Technician for a US based Client”

1. Should be proficient in using drafting software and preparing site plans, plan drawings, detail drawings, sketches, and diagrams.

2. Proficient with Carlson or AutoCAD Civil3D

3. Capable of using computer-assisted design/drafting (AutoCAD, Carlson, MicroStation, and/or Civil 3D) software to develop design and construction documents.

4. Create and revise project plans, schedules, and detailed drawings.

5. Utilizes knowledge of various engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to assist with the completion of drawings.

6. Coordinates drawings with backgrounds of relevant disciplines (e.g. architecture, landscape architecture, MEP, etc.) to detect missing items or changes that require further review.

7. Reviews all work prior to issuance or printing for conformance to company and/or client drawing standards.

8. Stays up to date with software changes, procedures, and industry drafting standards.

9. Associate degree in Engineering/Drafting from a Technical Institute or accredited curriculum; Bachelor’s degree in Engineering a plus.

10. Strong English verbal communication skills are a must.
