Description:
As a Community Manager at The Local Popup Karachi, you will play a crucial role in managing our social media presence, building relationships with clients and vendors, and supporting our sponsorship initiatives. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management and community engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and curate content for The Local Popup Karachi’s social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
- Assist in onboarding new vendors for our festivals, including communication and coordination.
- Support the community management team by engaging with our audience, responding to inquiries, and gathering feedback.
- Help identify and reach out to potential sponsors, assisting in the onboarding process.
- Collaborate with team members to create promotional materials and campaigns for events.
- Monitor social media trends and community engagement metrics, reporting insights to the team.
- Participate in planning and executing community events and festivals.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
